I graduated from The Healing Arts Institute of Fort Collins in 2009. I practiced in a few different spas down along the front range before making my way back up to Summit and finding a home with Radiant Mountain Massage. My massage is a medium to deep relaxation massage. I like to get in there and help get the kinks out but also want you to be able to fully relax.
Over the 8+ years of practicing, I have grown to appreciate the rehabilitate aspect of massage- from everyday stressors to injury to the realm of sports performance and recovery. I enjoy being a part of someone’s health and wellness process: helping them become more in tune with their body. I initially began studying at a 400+ hour school in Hawaii but graduated from a 500+ hour in California to obtain licensure and expand my knowledge of the body. I would call my style integrative deep tissue with light movement and stretch. My ideal client would be any mountain athlete looking to use massage as a tool for performance and recovery.
My journey in the world of massage therapy has been a transformative one. I'm passionate about creating a space for transformation and healing for my clients. I specialize in a wide range of massage techniques, and energy work such as reiki, Swedish, neuromuscular (deep tissue) massage, hot stone, and aromatherapy massages. Each session with me is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring you leave feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. I have a zest for life and have found that the mountains is another way to heal. Fishing, hiking and getting outdoors brings an inner peace not often found any other way. That is why I have found myself settling in Summit County.
Originally studied in New York, with 10+ years of experience in different modalities including deep tissue, Swedish, Thai and sports massage. I create my own twist and flow tailored for each session and each focus area. I have a strong love for the healing arts including reiki, theta healing, as well as my own form of energy work. I’m grateful to live in beautiful summit county and love to provide the community and those who find themselves here with intentional and focused work for physical and emotional healing.
I have been practicing massage in the beautiful state of Colorado for the past 10 years. My background is in integrated neuromuscular therapies, such as deep tissue, trigger point, sports therapy as well as Swedish massage. I enjoy providing a deep therapeutic massage with a relaxing flow in order to create a customized treatment for each individual. In my spare time I am outside rock climbing or trail running with my dog Raymond.
Self-care is often put at the end of the list of commitments for our day. My philosophy is that without proper self care, everything else on that list becomes difficult to do well. Proper diet, exercise, sleep/rest, stress reduction, healthy relationships, and spiritual fitness as well as taking some time for a nice massage can dramatically improve your life. I am a retired Navy Combat Surgeon and spend my time substitute teaching high school science as well as training for my private pilot’s certificate. I have also enjoyed helping others with the practice of massage for nearly 17 years.
