Ever since I was young I have loved using my hands to create things. I have followed that passion and thankfully found my calling in life as an artist and Massage Therapist. To me, Massage Therapy is also an art form, one that uses touch to create a state of well being. Being an avid traveler, I did my training at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy, and have studied many different modalities. I have come to understand the powerful connection between the body, mind and spirit, and how much massage can affect all three. Some of my specialties include Deep tissue massage, Cranial-Sacral therapy, Thai massage, and the uniquely restorative Ashiatsu massage. Whether you are looking to simply relax, release stress or relieve chronic pain, my massage treatments integrate a variety of these techniques to fit your needs.
I started massaging when I was a little girl in first grade. My teacher had it worked out that during story time she would pick a volunteer to rub her shoulders while she read. I quickly became one of her favorites and she informed my family of this ingenious system she'd orchestrated and my unexpected abilities. That memory stayed with me into adulthood and is what spawned my passion for the healing work I have been doing over the last seven years in my professional career. I've primarily spent that time in and around summit county with a few breaks here and there because I feel so much more at home closer to nature than in the big cities and because it draws people from all walks of life and parts of the world.
I graduated from The Healing Arts Institute of Fort Collins in 2009. I practiced in a few different spas down along the front range before making my way back up to Summit and finding a home with Radiant Mountain Massage. My massage is a medium to deep relaxation massage. I like to get in there and help get the kinks out but also want you to be able to fully relax.
